This wine is loaded with layers of flavor, complexity and a solid structure. A richly textured palate of spice, cherry and dark currants follows the smooth entry. Firm tannins appear mid-palate and retain a presence into the cocoa and cedar-laced finish. Delicious now, and will continue to evolve with additional bottle aging.
The grapes were hand-harvested and fermented in stainless steel tanks. The resulting wine was aged for 38 months in French barrels.
